In December 2017, the New York Times published a blockbuster story revealing the existence of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) — a secret government program that had been investigating UAP since at least 2007. Alongside the story, the Department of Defense released three declassified videos showing U.S. Navy fighter pilots encountering aerial objects that performed maneuvers physically impossible for any known aircraft: instantaneous acceleration, hypersonic speeds without propulsion signatures, and the ability to transition from air to water seamlessly. These were not grainy amateur videos — they were authenticated military FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) recordings.
Congressional Hearings and Whistleblowers
In 2023, the UAP disclosure reached a historic milestone. David Grusch, a former senior intelligence officer and UAP Task Force representative, testified before Congress under oath that the U.S. government possesses “non-human intelligence” and has for decades been running a secret program to reverse-engineer “non-human biologics” and craft of non-human origin. The Biblical Framework for Understanding UAPs
Scripture does not use the language of “UFOs” or “aliens” — but it provides the most coherent framework available for understanding what these phenomena represent. The Bible describes a spiritual realm populated by beings with extraordinary capabilities: angels, fallen angels, demons, and principalities that operate across dimensions invisible to ordinary human perception. The Book of Enoch, the Book of Daniel, and the Book of Revelation all describe non-human intelligences interacting with the physical world in ways that include aerial movement, light, transformation, and communication with humans.
The critical distinction the Bible makes is one that materialist secular frameworks cannot: these are not beings from another planet. They are spiritual entities operating in the same dimensional space that Scripture calls “the heavens.” Their intelligence is real. Their capabilities are extraordinary. But they are not neutral — and their agenda has been consistently opposed to the dignity and freedom of humanity.

The Great Deception Is Already Underway
2 Thessalonians 2:11 warns of a “powerful delusion” that will come upon those who refuse to love the truth. Many prophecy scholars believe that UAP disclosure, followed by a gradual normalization of “contact” with non-human intelligence, will be the platform through which this great deception is launched.
